Hi! I have a question regarding my upcoming trip. While I have been to Disney many, many times, this trip has a few firsts for me.

* I am traveling solo for a conference
* staying at the Contemporary
* using Disney transportation

So here's my real question - and itinerary - I think this is completely doable, but I am questioning if I am so far out of my mind and whether this can really all happen in a day.

I will arrive on April 7th by Magical Express, sometime around noon. I have a convention ticket that will let me into the park from 2:00 until close. Here is my plan that I'm beginning to second guess...

I intend to be at the Animal Kingdom, ready to enter promptly at 2. The only ride that I want to go on is EE. After that, I am headed to HS and have a 3:45 ADR at Mama Melrose's.

My question is whether this is really doable or not.

Thanks for your help!!

Do you have a FP for EE? If not, I don't think you'll make it to HS by 3:45. I always anticipate an hour of travel time from AK to any other park. The hour includes waiting for the bus at AK.

If you are getting to the Contemporary at noon. you should be able to be at AK by 2:00. I would try to be there 15-20 minutes before 2:00. They might let you in a little early. I agree with the PP. A FP+ for Everest would be good to have to avoid a long wait. However, there is a single rider line that can help you get on the ride quicker. The trip to DHS from AK is not that far but waiting for the bus is an unknown. I think that you can make it if you catch the bus by 3:00. It will be cutting it close, but if you go directly to Mama Melrose you should be good. Cheers!!

Thanks everyone! My thought exactly is that if I can get in and out of AK quickly, and catch a bus to HS by 3, I should be good to go :-)

Use the single rider line for EE. You will be in and out pretty fast.

And IF you are running tight on time you can grab a cab at the front of AK to get you quicker to DHS. On our last trip we had hoppers and only wanted to ride EE at AK too. We did a 3/4 day at Epcot, rode the bus to AK, rode EE twice on stand by line (no FP) but then had to get quickly back to hotel to clean up for dinner ADR. So we grabbed a cab, worked great and cost less than $20 with tip. Good luck!

single rider line and you should be fine

I think you can make it happen but I have never had good luck scheduling things this close together...Good Luck
