Park Hopper Plus Question

I don’t know why I’m having trouble grasping this issue (maybe a senior moment? 8-))

Ok, so we’re staying at the Fort for 13 days, and buying 10 day park hopper plus tickets. They way I understand it, we could space out our park days, with 3 of those interspersed days being for the water parks, so a total of 13 days. If I”m understanding it correctly, we’d have a two week time frame to use the tickets.

I’ve read previous posts, but haven’t found one that dealt with this exact question (that I could find doing a search). Do I have the above right?

Actually, you have a 15-day time frame to use the tickets.

This is from post 2 of Disboards' "Tickets + How to Upgrade" sticky (emphasis added):

"Multi-day tickets are valid for admission beginning on the start date selected and must be used within a limited time period, as indicated below:

Ticket Duration Valid Use Period
1-Day Ticket valid one day on the date selected (Next day can be used for “+ Option” with a PH+ ticket)
2-Day Ticket Any 2 days within 4 days beginning on start date (5 days with PH+)
3-Day Ticket Any 3 days within 5 days beginning on the start date (6 days with PH+)
4-Day Ticket Any 4 days within 7 days beginning on thestart date (8 days with PH+)
5-Day Ticket Any 5 days within 8 days beginning on the start date (9 days with PH+)
6-Day Ticket Any 6 days within 9 days beginning on the start date (10 days with PH+)
7-Day Ticket Any 7 days within 10 days beginning on the start date (11 days with PH+)
8-Day Ticket Any 8 days within 12 days beginning on the start date (13 days with PH+)
9-Day Ticket Any 9 days within 13 days beginning on the start date (14 days with PH+)
10-Day Ticket Any 10 days within 14 days beginning on the start date (15 days with PH+)"

Here is how it reads on the UT website:

That is correct. A 10-day ticket can be used any 10 days in a 14-day window (starting with the designated Start date). The PH+ option gives you 10 entries to waterparks, minigolf, footgolf or Oak Trail golf. Those are separate from the 10 days in the major theme parks. The plus options can be used on the same day as a major theme park and/or as your non-park days. You can do more than 1 plus option in a day, such as Waterpark and minigolf.

Or multiple minigolfs! any permutation/combination works! You can also do a “main” park and golf and/or water oark on the same day. That would use one of hour park admissions plus one extra for eaxh extra used that day.

Thank you all for your answers, much appreciated! I don’t know why I had such a hard time grasping the concept, but I had visions of us using our 10 park passes, traipsing in full swimwear regalia to Typhoon Lagoon, only to be told “sorry, you’ve used up your days.”

Is there a way to see how many of the + entries you have used or have remaining?

Welp I just had an answer to my question and a major surprise! When I (finally) got a live person to purchase our annual passes (we traded in our 10 day ticket for them) the CM told me we STILL had 6 water park admissions left from last years’ 7 day park hopper+. We were there during hurricane Ian and only made it to the water parks once, so I believe that’s why they’re still keeping our entries available but don’t quote me on that.

So even though we didn’t get the water park add-on for the AP’s, when we’re there end of May into June for 5 days, we’ll still be able to Typhoon Lagoon it! That’s going to be a nice Bday present for those days :)

When your 7 day hopper plus ticket was extended due to the hurricane, the unused water park visits should also survive up to the new expiration day for that ticket.

This way, if you had planned your full vacation in advance and it was cut short by the hurricane, you could simply come back and finish the vacation at a later date (within the exten time granted) and the ticket would work just as if the vacation were not cut short.

Non-expiring tickets from the past with limited water park fun visits had the water park visits also non-expiring even if all the theme park days were used up.
