Park Hopper Passes

What do you normally do for entry to the "Kingdom"? Do you normally purchase an annual or premium pass, ultimate or 7 day park hopper?

I'm trying to figure out what's best for us... I don't think we'll be going to Disney Quest much, but the water parks will be popular with my 4 kids....
