Our last trip was at Easter and the park hoppers came in very handy. As one park got very crowded we could pop over to another park.We have been to WDW a few times and are at the point where there are specific things we like to do and see so being able to hop from park to park makes it fun and easy.

We usually get park hoppers, although for the life of me I don't know why! Last time, we used that option only once, but I am one of those that if I don't have it, I'll either want or need it - what can I say ;)

We opted against it this time (saves us $230), knowing we can always add it on later if we feel we need it.

I wouldn't go without the park hopper option!

We always get the park hopper because we like to go to one park during the day and say catch the fireworks at a different park at night.

I always get the park hoppers because my DW has likes/dislikes when it comes to dining so we invariably end up leaving AK or MGM and heading to Epcot or MK for dinner...

The same thing happens every trip....
Should we or shouldn't we?

Well, we always do. And we always use it.
Like to have the option available.

Park Hopper is a must for us!

On our last trip in 2005 we loved being able to visit a park in the morning and a different one at night. It broke the day up for us and was a lot of fun!

We always get the Hopper option. There have been a few times when we get to a park and look around to find it extremely croweded like everyone planned for that particilar park for that day. So we hop over to another one and enjoy it. I wouldn't be without a hopper option in the summer or any busy time at the world. Maybe if you go at a very slow time (little that there is) then you could get by. We prefer to do one park at a time as well, but there are times when one needs to adjust and hop over to another park.:goodvibes

We don't. We stay offsite so hit a park a day and the early nights we swim in the pool. We get a 5 day and the last day is always Magic Kingdom again because my son has to say goodbye to Mickey. He is 8 years old and still wants to do that! I also agree that you waste time getting your car/going to the bus. We are also "commandos/park huggers" and hate wasting time.

I think it totally depends on who's going. For instance DH and I love to park hop, but now w/three young kids-it just seems too hard sometimes-plus we're not really the "go in the morning, leave in the afternoon and then hit another park in the evening" type of family. Usually once we get to a park we end up staying for a long time. That said, if money was no option we'd always opt for the PH because it does give you so many options and freedom. Hope that makes sense. If our kids were older right now the PH would be a no brainer. This summer DGP & DGM are going w/us and I don't think they could handle more than 1 park a day. Plus if you are the types who take breaks during the day you can always go back to the same park at night!

We always take the hopper option. We like one park in the morning and a different one in the afternoon/evening. Plus we can take advantage of Early entry and head to a different park when the first one gets crowded.
We also enjoy Epcot for it's dinner choices and go there many evenings then head to what ever park is open later.
We just think that all day/evening at the same park is too much of that park.

On our last day we like to hit every park and just do our top 2-3 favs to hold us over till next trip.

We are not doing the Hopper this year. I find that I like to get to a park and just stay there and take it all in from morning till closing. I hate riding the bus and hopping around just makes me aggrevated. Wait for a bus, then wait for another bus. It all depends on what you are going to be doing. If you want to dine at Epcot then you will need a Hopper. You can also dine at all the Monarail and resort hotels with no park ticket so we just go there or back to the room for swim when we are done at AK. We also enjoy Downtown Disney at night.

We always get park hoppers. We tend to do one park in the morning, head back to the hotel for lunch, a swim and a break, then head for another part in the late afternoon..We also only spend a few hours at MGM and never spend a full day at the AK
