Hi fellow Disney lovers. We are going to the parks 9/28-10/1 with only single day tickets and staying at a Disney value resort. Also not planning on doing MNSSHP. I need help planning with which park on which day to best avoid crowds. I know people used to say evening hours didn't affect crowds much and party days were a good time to go due to low crowds but I don't know if all that is still true or if things have changed. For those of y'all who have been during this time frame in the last couple of years, can you share your opinions on how I should handle this. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Party days usually have low waits in the morning of, it’s a good strategy if you had hoppers but you miss out on the evening stuff like Happily Ever After and new parade so definitely want a MK day w no party for the Evening activities.

The only low crowds you can get is MK on a party day until around 1pm but the park closes to you at 6pm. And from 4pm-6pm it's managed chaos as party people are given early access and it mixes with day crowds. Rope drop EE that morning and you can definitely do a lot though. Correspondingly party days see higher crowds in the other 3 parks as people with single day tickets avoid MK.

Other than that, there is no picking parks for lighter crowds on different days. They will all be busy.

If you don’t mind missing the new nighttime parade and Happily Ever After fireworks, highly recommend MK on a party day. Our experience is we get the same amount (or more) done than on a non-party day and the waits are much lower on a party day! It’s a trade off only you know if it is worth it.
