Park Gates / Security /Strollers

Just wondering when going to the parks, do the kids have to come out of the strollers for the security check.

At the airport, they must come out, stroller must be folded which isn't easy w/ 2 sm children and 2 car seats and various items. I undersatnd why.

Just want to be prepared if this is also the case at the Park Gates


Also, baby food can't be glass jars? Is this the case here too? When to another park and they remeinded me of this but let me in anyway.

i think the kids were staying in the stroller. I just don't remember the guards searching it. now the stuff on it they definitely looked at.

this is how we handled it:
I and my dd took all the bags through the bag check. DH stood to the side with the other children and the dbl stroller until we were done. Then we all went through the ticket turnstiles together. No need to remove kids from stroller, just don't leave any pkgs or bags on it, take them through the bag check. It is so much faster if 1 or 2 people are in charge of bags and the rest of the family stays out of the line if possible. Worked great!

Oh, and we took glass baby food jars, but not very many. Never had a problem. Hoping to take a few of the plastic variety this time. I think glass beverages are the big issue.

One parent can take all the bags from the stroller and head to bag checks and the other can go with the stroller and kids and get in the gate. No need to worry about getting the stroller checked. I had always taken glass baby food jars and not had a problem. Don't know if that policy has changed or not though. Have a great trip!

Kids can stay in the stroller. Just have your bags unzipped and up on the security table.

Not to contradict anyone else on this thread but technically, no glass is allowed to be taken into Disney parks. That being said, I highly doubt a security guard is going to deny food for your child.
