PARK FREE DAY -- SOME SUGGESTIONS?

i THINK WE ARE GOING TO PURCHASE THE 10 DAY WITH NO EXPIRATION AND i HAVE AN ap. THIS WAY WE CAN COME BACK NEXT YEAR AND ALREADY HAVE ALL OF OUR TICKETS. WE JUST CAN'T GO IN THE PARK ONE DAY AND THE LAST DAY. I HAVE SOME IDEAS PUT OTHERS PROBABLY HAVE BEEN AND HAVE PARK FREE DAYS. :scratchin

SWIM AT THE POOL
MINI GOLF
DOWNTOWN DISNEY
CARRIAGE RIDES
WATER-RENT A BOAT
WILDERNESS-PETTING ZOO
CHECK OUT THE OTHER RESORTS

wE WANT TO GO TO EPCOT ON OUR FIRST DAY OR I WOULD SAY IT AND THE LAST BUT HALF WAY THROUGH WOULD PROBABLY BE GOOD FOR A BREAK? THANKS

Just got back from Disney, also spent our 1st day at the world in Epcot with out 2 sons, had the best time. My choice for a non park day is definetely the pool. Play with the kids or RELAX on a lounge chair. My husband & i find that too often we are exhausted from all the running. A vacation should include some down time. We are so busy throughout the year.

Good luck. Gigi pirate: :wizard:

On a non park day we sleep in, have a nice long breakfast then hang out at the pool. Later in the day we eat a nice dinner and either go to Downtown Disney or check out the Boardwalk. Everything we do is at a slow pace.

On a park free day we sleep late, go at a slow pace, play Mini Golf at Fantasia Gardens, walk around the Boardwalk and swim in the pool. The key for us is SLOW Down from all the running around.
I think renting Water Mice boats would be fun too!! We haven't done that since our first trip in the late 70's.
Enjoy

We love those off days. After a late night at the parks, it's refreshing to sleep in and leisurely get ready in the morning. Head out for a late breakfast/brunch, then spend the afternoon lounging around the pool. Head to a resort hotel for an early dinner, then to DTD for the evening. My kids really like the pool just as much as the parks (and I like having downtime to just lie around and read in that fabulous FL sunshine!)
