Park decorations in October

Is HHN heavily advertied in the parks during October? Last year there was a banner on this board with Bloody Mary on it. Is there similar advertising/decorations in the parks? We are visiting Orlando in October and really want to visit Universal, but my children are scared easily. My son had a nightmare a couple weeks ago about a video box he saw at Blockbuster for example. We definitley don't plan on attending HHN. How can we enjoy the parks and avoid this or is it impossible?

Within the Studios the only thing you will see are props used for the scarezones but nothing else. You will see the advertisements in and around CityWalk and the parking garage though.

You can't go to Universal that time of year without seeing the advertisements. There's also no telling what kinds of props will be up in USF. But maybe you could keep them distracted?
