We were just informed that there will be no more paper tickets and fast passes for the park days. You will use your KTTWC for park admission. Three FPs will be accessed with your KTTWC but after that you will have to use the kiosks located in the parks.

Huh. Will the KTTW card be attached to your MDE account so you can use the app instead of the kiosks? Nice that they'll let you book more when yours are done, though. Do you have to use yours first or can you just book day-of FPPs and save yours, say for later in the day at a different park?

I believe you have to use the first 3 up before you can get additional ones.

What a pain if you have to use those horrid kiosks!! The app makes it so much easier!! Especially for park hopping!!

Any idea if we can still 'Load" the ticket into the MDE app so that we could use magicbands linked to our accounts?

I emailed DCL this very question and here is the response:

The Disney Cruise Line Key to the World card serves as your Theme Park
admission for your day in the parks. The Disney Cruise Line Key to the
World Card cannot be associated with your My Disney Experience account.

Since your admission is unable to be linked to your mobile app,
FastPass+ selections are unable to be made on your mobile device.
However, you may utilize your Key to the World at the FastPass+ Kiosks
once you have utilized your initial three FastPasses to add additional
FastPass+ options if available.

Bummer.

Looks like that if you have a annual pass, maybe you could book 3 additional fast passes and add new ones through the MDE app in addition to the DCL fast passes

Only if you're using the annual passes to enter the park. They've been cracking down on people who use other people's tickets for FPPs and then use their own tickets to enter the park and use the FPPs. People have had their accounts locked. The only way that would work is if you had the annual pass and used it to enter the park, use the FPPs and then exit and re-enter with the KTTW and use those. So be careful.
