I was wondering if I was at the MK a day when MNSSHP is that evening what happens before the party? If the party starts at 7pm and the park hours for that day say 9pm - 7pm how do they get the non-party guests out of the park?

Lst year when we were there they placed CM's at the entrance to all the rides right at 7pm. They would not let anyone on the rides unless you had the wrist band for the party. They also did this with the shopes ect. We saw that there were areas that the Cm's stood across checking everyone and nicely asking people that did not have the bands to exit the park.

They will usher you out(nicely but firmly). They want everyone out before the Boo to You Parade starts at 8:30pm. They will not let anyone enter a ride line after 7pm. If you have dinner ressies that go past 7pm do not be surprised if a CM escorts you from the restaurant to the exit when you are finished.

Without a party wristband you are not allowed to enter any attraction queue, store, or food service location after 7:00. You are not permitted to make any purchases at merchandise or food service kiosks or carts. I think that you may be permitted to use the restrooms.

If you are in a store at 7:00 you will not be permitted to buy any special Party merchandise.

There will be random teams of CMs blocking entry to deeper Park locations and if you do not have wristbands they will have you head toward Main Street or even escort you to the Gate.

They also station CMs at the entrances to all the lands, so that you can not enter from the hub without a band, and there are roving CMs that randomly check. I was in the line for the 7 dwarfs last year at 6:30, and they checked that everyone in line had a band on.

So tecnically if you hung out in the park, possibly for dinner, you could still be in the park and see Hallowishes? That would be really great! Please no flames I'm just wondering.

They do a great job of herding people with this mindset out of the park. If a CM sees you anywhere (even just walking down mainstreet away from the gates) without a wristband, they WILL herd you toward the exit.

I've heard in past years, especially on the busy party nights, they won't even let you into the restroom line without a wristband.

Um probably not. I would imagine at some point you would be asked to leave. Be careful this is a very touchy subject. You are looking to enjoy something for free that others have paid good money to enjoy.

Yes, I already braced my self for that and will re-ask, no flames pretty please. My main concern was I have 6:30 ADRs at LTT and have a group of 10 and I can imagine we will get out of dinner by 8:00 we will be forced to catch the parade... I just don't want to be escorted out of the park in blindfolds and earplugs because we didn't buy tickets!

Most likely there will be CMs to escort you out of the park after your ADR.

We will prob break down and buy tickets, I didnt realized this was the night of MNSSHP and wouldn't be able to make it to any other night

I was there until a few minutes after 7pm without a wrist band.

The only part I found annoying was the herding out that started BEFORE 7 pm. That was insulting. I wanted a particular picture before leaving and they wouldn't let us walk through the park "the other way." I knew we were getting kicked out and that was fine - but I expected to have free rein of the park until 7pm. That's my only complaint. We did pay for park admission that day and I expected to be able to walk around freely until then.

That said - we were at about Casey's at the top of Main Street at about 7 pm - and it was clear we were going to only be allowed ONE way - which was fine because that's what we were expecting. But they weren't too pushy at that point, probably because we really were just watching the crowd and not one of the many still trying to jump around the person barricade. They did stop me from entering a store at that time, but they did allow me into a restroom - but there was definitely no backtracking at that point. We continue to watch the crowd pour into the park for the party from the area by Guest Relations until maybe 7:10 - and then left. There were still alot of folks not attending the party leaving, we were far from the last. It was a beautiful evening, the Halloween lights where on the castle, and those coming to the party were all decked out in costume. We got a "feel" for the party.

So - they are firm about it. If you aren't attending the party - expect to get ordered which way you are allowed to walk and which way you can't go as the witching hour approaches. They have ALOT of cast members making that exit happen. Some are more bossy than others, but all are there to enforce the rules. You won't feel welcome. And well, after 7pm - you shouldn't.

I did attend the party a week later in Disneyland. We saw quite a few people without wristbands milling around after the party start time - more than I expected. But as the evening got later, those numbers went down!

Did you book your reservation on line? I remember a few reports of people booking on line getting calls.

Either they will escort you out or you will get a call before then confirming you have party tickets or would need to change your ADR.

We buy MNSSHP tickets every year and really enjoy it. It is worth spending the money to attend the event.

Sounds like the parade is at 8:30 so you will be done and out of the park before it starts. If you get a glimpse consider yourself lucky, but I wouldn't try to time dinner paying the bill, etc.. so you can see the parade. Actually I would buy tickets to the MNSSHP and cancel the dinner reservation. They probably don't equal in cost but the dinner is 30 plus tax and tip and drinks - could be up to 40 a person and the MNSSHP is 60. But you could eat something for 10 dollars somewhere and spend the saved money to get half your MNNSHP, and then you don't have to try to glimpse the parade as you are being escorted out.

Of course if you are on the DDP, then dinner is included so this logic doesn't work.

Good luck.

I can tell you they won't rush your meal, but they won't let you linger either. When we were done at the CP , we were asked to wait for a minute and then a Cm came over with another 2 families and escorted us down Main St thru the people waiting and out to the exit gates..and rightfully so.
