what breakfast options do we have in MK now? We really like a buffet breakfast, but I know that is probably out. Just wondering what my options are for breakfast in each park
We got waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow. I think most of the usual breakfast places are either closed completely or don't open until lunch. You may still be able to get a pastry at Main St Bakery but I think that's about it.
Consider eating outside the park at Chef Mickeys before the park opens. Not a buffet but pretty close as it is family style platter with a good variety, and walking distance to MK after the meal.
Chef Mickey's is a great option! We ate there on a non-park day. The food was pretty good; all the Mickey waffles you want and delicious cheesy potatoes. Unfortunately my family doesn't exercise much self-control in "all you care to eat" situations so we don't like to schedule this kind of a meal on park days--we'd be waddling over to MK.
Whispering Canyon used to have a great family style breakfast but I do not know if they are open. M.T. (don't know her full name) is a great server and adds loads of fun to eating there BUT I bet much of that has stopped too as you have to get close with patrons when joking around and having fun.

Interesting. I was starving when we were there last week, we even stopped and asked a cast member but they said until 11am, everything was closed except Starbucks. We didn't specifically look at Sleepy Hollow but even the CM didn't mention that.
If you want to get a good breakfast at a decent price, I'd hop on the monorail and go to the Contemporary and eat at the Contempo Cafe. They have a decent variety at a good price. Then hop right back on and back to Magic.
Thanks for all the info! We have never done Chef Mickey's, but had a fun breakfast at Whispering Canyon once. Also had a good breakfast at the wave, just wanted to check out other options.

I don't think there's much... weren't a lot of options before the pandemic (though Crystal Palace seemed like a good buffet option). I would consider getting a breakfast reservation at The Contemporary (The Wave or Chef Mickey's) then you can walk over to Magic Kingdom after you eat. Breakfast dining reservation options also at Polynesian, Grand Floridian and Wilderness Resort. I assume the boats are running from those resorts to MK, but not sure.
