Ok, this is just some information for any folks that might be planning an early November trip to WDW.
NJ has this thing called Teacher's Convention which takes place Thursday and Friday of the first week in November. All the public schools have off. A majority of the state migrates to Disney World to take advantage of the days off from school that don't fall during normal peak holidays.
It so happens that our honeymoon fell during the above mentioned time of year. During a backstage tour we questioned the Cast Member about attendance. She said the November is generally is a slower time although there is a slightly noticable increase during that week. It was obvious to us that it was still a great time to go because though there might be a few more folks then usual it's still nothing compare to peak or holiday seasons.
If you are from Jersey it's pretty cool because you see people from local towns (obvious by fire company t-shirts and such). One year I actually ran into my history teacher!
