DH and I considering staying offsite. Can we park at the TTC in the morning and then use the buses/monorail to get around WDW during the day. How much is it to park at the TTC?

Yes. Day guests are not allowed to park for more than a few hours at a time in resort parking lots, and they have begun towing to enforce this policy due to abuse. So the best bet is to park at the TTC.

Not sure how much parking is these days, either $5 or $6 a day.

You only need to pay once per day to park at WDW. Take your receipt to the next lot and you won't have to pay again that day. Technically, Disney transportation is for holders of multiple day tickets, so if you have a hopper pass or annual pass, you can use the Disney transportation. If you have an AP, you park for free. I think it's $6 per day to park now. We have AP and stay on site, so we don't have to pay to park.
