Park Anniversaries

Does Disney announce which anniversaries the parks will celebrate?
I like to plan holidays quite far in advance!
So Magic Kingdom is about to celebrate their 45th anniversary, does that mean they won't celebrate the 50th or is the 45th very minimal?

I'm also curious about this but with a twist . . . I haven't heard (yet) if MK will be doing anything special for its upcoming 45th anniversary this Fall. eg I haven't heard of any special events exclusive to that park being advertised other than announcing the anniversary at a parade. The only thing I've seen at this point is branded merch.

D23 mentioned something on oct 1 but it will not be a big celebration. 50 should be.

MK will celebrate their 45th with merchandise and maybe a little celebration on October 1st but nothing major at all. The 50th should be much bigger if all goes well.

Disneylands 50th was huge and was celebrated at all the parks as 50years of Disney Parks. I can only hope WDWs will be as big.

Disneyland has better executives all around I'm sure they'll celebrate both but the 75th will be bigger.

Nothing major is planned for the 45th Anniversary other then merchandise. The 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom will most likely be a resort wide celebration and not catered to just the Magic Kingdom Park.

We still have the 25th Anniversary pin/badge they gave out with the first year you visited. My wife wears it with all her pins when she goes to the parks.
