Park and Fly Indianapolis

Anyone know of a good & safe park and fly lot or hotel in Indy. I'm still trying to decide if I will drive up the night before my flight as I am about 3 hours away.

We have stayed at the Country Inn and Suites on Flight School Rd. we left our car and they took us to and from.

We stayed at the Indy La Quinta Inn before we left for our Disney cruise in May. I think it was ~ $90. Great/easy transportation to/from the airport. Nice continental breakfast. I think it was the one on Lynnhurst.

With the new airport, the parking is only $7.00/day.
The shuttle service is VERY quick to the lots. That works better for our family, that paying for a nights hotel, just to park, and then you still have to get a shuttle ride to the airport.

Indy Park Ride & Fly is a good option. Microtell Inn on Rockville Road is a good clean, reasonably priced hotel. You can stay, and do extended parking.

We are from Louisville but flying out of Indy because we are saving about 80.00 a ticket on 5 tickets. When you mentioned a new airport, I was surprised. We have flown from there before but it has been a few years. Is the airport still in the same general area. We used the park and fly long term lots and it was really reasonable. Any help would be great.

http://www.indianapolisairport.com/ Click on this site which has information about the new airport in Indy. The runways are the same, but a new terminal has been build. You enter the terminal off I-70 on exit 68. Signs are good.

Last year we stayed at the Radisson with parking deal included. The year before we stayed at the Quality Inn. We had to pay for parking after check in there. The Radisson was very close to the old terminal, not sure about now. It works for a one night stay. That is probably where we will stay this year unless I find a good rate on something else.

Thanks everyone for all the suggestions. I would just drive the morning of and park at the airport but with the time difference between Illinois (CST) and Indiana (EST) I would need to leave home at 4am to allow enough time to get there for a 10:50am flight because I'm sure I would run into traffic with people trying to get to work. Indianapolis is about 200 miles from me so I went ahead and booked with ParkSleepFly.com and got the Staybridge Suites for $72. It would cost me around that much anyway for nine days of parking at the airport. Staybridge wanted $129 on their website so I think I got a deal.
