Park admission required for MVMCP?

I ordered my tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Our plan is not to go to MK until that evening. Will we still need to pay for park admission on top of the MVMCP ticket we already have?

No you don't need a separate park ticket. Your MVMCP ticket gets you into the park. When we went last year, we were able to enter the park starting at 4pm (I think) using the MVMCP ticket. We wanted to get there early and grab an early dinner before the party officially started.

For these parties, how do they get out the people who were in the park during the day but didn't purchase a ticket for the nighttime event?

When you enter the park using your MVMCP ticket, you are issued a wristband. So I guess around 6pm, they just start moving anyone without a wristband towards the exit. We were finishing up dinner at that time so we didn't see how they handled things.

I am trying to decide if we should do the MVMCP. Its just the 2 of us. We love the MNSHHP and loved it. Does this compare?

We love the MVMCP show in the Tomorrowland theater and the one in front of the castle. But the highlight for us is the special parade. I would pay the ticket price just to see those marching tin soldiers. There are also special fireworks.

So, if you do not need to purchase a regular park admission ticket on top of the ticket for the MVMCp..... then do you need to purchase a regular park admission ticket for the MNSSHP???? We are planning our trip in Nov and trying to decide how many days of MYW tickets we need to purchase.

We felt the same way about the fireworks -- worth the price of admission! Loved the parade, too. Wonderful atmosphere in the MK with everyone decked out for the holidays. And no lines for most of the rides we did that night!

The MVMCP holiday parade just gives me goose bumps all over!

It is an all inclusive ticket which includes the admission plus festivities for the evening. Well worth it, IMHO.

We do MVMCP on the day we arrive so that we only have the separate ticket to worry about for that day (not all of us have APs). It's a favorite event for me, too. Love the holiday spirit and it gets me in the Christmas mood quickly!

The snow on mainstreet is a bit odd for anyone who lives with it in their "real" lives at home, but I can see how it is cute for the kids who never see real snow.

I'm trying to decide on whether or not to buy the MVMCP tickets or just skip it. If we buy tickets it will be for 11/27. Has anyone been to the party at this time? Was it crowded?

I don't want to spend a lot of money for tickets and then be crowded and not able to move and enjoy the festivities.

Any help on this? TIA
