Paris Metro question

Not really DLP related but does anyone know if there is a Paris Metro app and if so, what is it called?

If you want an app to buy and use tickets, you can download Bonjour RATP.
For point to point directions Google maps is just perfect.

I was hoping for an app to help us get around Paris on the Metro, so one that has maps of the routes, arrival times, etc.

I would use Googlemaps as well.

Google Maps is so accurate in Tokyo that it tells you which train to get on so you'll be closest to the exit you should use!

We took the Metro all around Madrid recently, and it was spot-on. I'd guess it's just as accurate in Paris.

Definitely Google Maps. The Paris metroʻ also has 5G signal in the stations and the tunnels, as long as you have roaming on your phone (or buy a local SIM) you'll be fine. And you can also download the maps for offline use too.

I found google maps to be the most accurate for getting around Paris on multiple trips.

Bucking the trend here but I find CityMapper to be better in Paris mainly because the RER uses 4 letter codes instead of destinations (and stops skipped) which Google Maps doesn't display. RER C is the worst for this, it's a single line which has more branch lines than some cities entire metro!

I second CityMapper. I find their point to point directions for public transit to be better than Google Maps, at least that's been my experience in various European Cities.

Just went to DLP in May. Used CityMapper in Paris (and London). Worked like a charm. I liked it much more than Google for getting around the Metro (and I tend to always use Google for most things at home).

How is Apple Maps for navigating the trains and metro in Paris? Taking our first ever trip to France at the end of September. 3 days in Paris, 1 day at DLP, and then a few days around the countryside (Versailles, Provins, etc.)

Was there a year ago and Apple Maps worked great for metro/bus directions.

Note to all Paris metro users... Keep your phone away from the tickets. Your phone will de-magnetize your ticket. We got stuck in Garde Nord bc of this problem due to having to scan out of the station. Lol. Found an attendant and they explained this is a common issue. So beware.

Paper tickets are going away, you can load tickets onto iPhones and Android phones now.

We used the Bonjour RATP app to get around Paris. So easy

in the Apple Store 'Bonjour RATP' is the official Paris subway app.we used it last summer as it will allow you to put in two addresses and will tell you how to get from point A to B and give you times based on how busy the subway lines are. I Paris (especially during am/pm commute) what looks like the most direct way is not always the fastest.
