:confused3 Hello, Could anyone help me please?? I'm going to Disneyland tomorrow and was due to go from Ebbsfleet to Lille, then Lille to Disneyland, but as there are strikes in France tomorrow chances were we'd be stuck in Lille for hours unsure of when we would get to Disney, not a nice thought having to 5 children with!! I just phoned Eurostar, who have very kindly swapped us onto the direct train from Ebbsfleet to Paris and then we just need to get the RER to Marne La Vallee.

How easy is this??? I am fine getting my way round London, changing tubes/lines etc but wondered if would be anything like this in Paris? We've been to Val D'europe on the RER plenty of times and have managed to figure that out but just petrified that we'll end up in the middle of no where!! From what I can make out we have to get the RER b line from gare du nord then change to the a line, which will take us all the way to marne la vallee, are things well signposted or will we get lost, lol.

Many thanks for any help that anyone can give me.

well if you have been to Val'Deurope before then your in luck as Marnee La Vallee is the stop after Val'D Europe! its like 2 mins after! you just need to get from Gare Du Nord to Chatelet Les Halles which is line B then get on Line A from Chatelet Les Halles to Marne La Vallee which takes about 40 mins.

hope that helps.

At Gare du Nord just follow signs for RER B which is fairly well signposted. You need to take line B to Chatelet les Halles, which is the next stop and change here on to RER A. This change is very easy you just cross to the adjacent platform – no stairs or walking. Check on the indicator boards that the train is going to Marne la Vallee Chessy as the line splits before Disney.

Journey is fairly straightforward but be aware that just like on the London tube the trains get very busy at times.

I've done it before and as Salandbri says, it's pretty easy.

When you get off the Eurostar keep head towards the RER part of the station. There are ticket booths with English speaking staff, just tell them how many tickets you want and your destination (Marne-la-Vallee).

When you take the

to Chatelet-Les Halles, make sure you take it in the direction of Massy-Palaiseau. This train should take about 5 minutes.

it's a little bit more confusing because the line splits in two. One of the lines goes to Disney and the other doesn't! Both go from the same platform. As Salandbri pointed out, there are boards above the platform that have lots of station names. One of the last ones is Marne-la-Vallee. If the little light next to that name isn't on, don't get on the train, just wait for the next one!

The whole journey takes about an hour.

Hi how much does this trip cost on the RER. Also does anybody know how much it is from Lille to Disneyland if we did it that way.

Thanks

From Gare du Nord to Marne La Valle is €6,55 for adults (half price for children) for a standard one-way ticket. You can buy your ticket on the day at the station.

From Lille it would be around €30-60 for adults on the TGV. The price varies greatly depending on when you book it and the time of day you wish to travel. You can book it in advance at www.raileurope.com. It is cheaper to do it that way. If you buy your ticket from the station, it will normally cost more.

Assuming you are travelling from the UK you can book tickets for the complete journey via Lille from either Eurostar or Rail Europe. Prices start from £59 return which includes Eurostar to Lille and TGV from Lille to Disneyland.
Tickets are only available from 90 days before travel and generally get more expensive the later you buy them.

We have often got very good prices for fairly late bookings traveling by this route.
