Parents Arrested After Child Found Abandoned Outside Disney Ride

I'm still trying to figure out why it took an hour or so for someone to notice a small child alone ith the stroller I guess the child was asleep (right???), but in a desingated stroller area there would be tons of people comming and going. I think others saw her but didn't want "to be involved" I will take this as a lesson to be more aware of my surroundings.

It took that long because people don't really give a darn, that's why, why help someone when you don't need to?

I haven't read all the replies to this thread, I feel like I know what a lot of them say. I just wanted to add that if these parents are guilty of neglect then I am glad they have lost custody of their child. What a cruel thing for someone to do! However I have seen this happen by mistake at the MK. There was a group of people and the mom told the dad to take the stroller and park it. Their little boy had been asleep in it and the dad didn't know. He parked it and went back to the group. They talked (argued ) about what ride to go on next, and even got in line for Buzz, when the mom started yelling at the dad, he ran back to the stroller and found the boy who had just started to wake up. You know how crazy it gets sometimes, you get tired and cranky, and one parent thinks the other parent has t together.
But an hour????? How on earth????

hay ill admit something
we were getting in line for haunted mansion. We turned to my sister 16years old and said get my son. she didnt we thought she did. i turned around not seeing my son and almost lost it. my mom yelled at my fionce and he ran backl and got my son..but i turned and yelled at my sister..we had asked her to..but i could never go an hour and not know where he was..i am over protective usely..i admit in wdw i was over welmed by the magic and probley wasnt as over protective as i usely was..well this trip is diffrent..all the news stories this year are making me more awear.
