Like the title says, pardon my stupidity. I've lost all my notes about MVMCP.

Facts:

1. I will be at WDW from Dec 2nd through Dec 12th 2004
2. Dec 2nd and 12th will be shot because I won't arrive until about 2pm and I will have to leave the resort (to get to MCO) at 3pm on the 12th.
3. I want to go to TWO MVMCPs
4. I want to see La Nouba

Questions:

1a. When will be the good date to see La Nouba?
1b. At what time and which section?
1c. Anybody got his/her favourite seat? Price is no object, but the more expensive seats are not necessarily give you the best view (at least from my personal experiences with musical theatres and opera houses around the world)

2. When will be the least crowded dates for MVMCP? (and what are the dates offered by Disney anyway?) I have the 7th (Tuesday) as one of them

3. Where I can phone (800 number would be great since I'm calling from Canada) to get advance MVMCP tickets?

I've never been to La Nouba, but as far as MVMCP goes, Tuesday is probably good, I'd stay away from later in the week and definitely weekend. You can purchase tickets online at Disneyworld.com unless it's changed from last year. Wish I could be of more help but I don't have an 800 number for Disney. Sorry.

Well, I'm going to help you out in your decision about when to go to LaNouba. They will be dark from Dec. 5 to 13th, so that only leaves you with the first couple of nights to see the show, if you don't go to MVMCP one of those nights. I agree that Level 2 seating is just as good if not better than Level 1, so I wouldn't spend the extra money. There really isn't a bad seat in the house, though. You can purchase tickets online at www.cirquedusoliel.com and you can see exactly where you'll be sitting before you finalize the purchase.

Hey, we'll be down there the same time! BF and I will be there Dec. 3 to 11.

According to the "who will be in WDW during Dec." thread by Zurgswife, quite a few DISer's will be at the MVMCP on Dec. 9th (which is a Thrusday) so maybe you'll want to go that day, maybe we'll run into each other.

Other than that, I've heard MVMCP is most crowded on Friday's.

As for Cirque, I have no answers for you, I've never been!

What about MVMCP on Sunday? Considering the next day is a school day, logically it should be less crowded... but sometimes logic doesn't match reality.

As Linda D stated there are NO Cirque Du Soleil shows December 5-13 as the performers have vacation that week. So make sure that if you decide you want to go you account for that and get your tickets for Dec 2, 3 or 4... Also keep in mind that since there is a dark period the shows just prior to it tend to sell out so you will need to get your tickets asap. As for the seats, every seat in the theater is a good seat, but I agree the Cat 2 is more desirable (in my opinion). It is nice to be right up front, but I like the upper section anyway.

As for MVMCP the dates during your stay are Thursday Dec 2, Friday Dec 3, Sunday Dec 5, Tuesday Dec 7, Thursday Dec 9, and Friday Dec 10. Personally because they are still school nights I would say that going on Sunday, Tuesday or Thursday would be best (avoid those Friday nights if you can). Tickets can be purchased by calling 407-W-Disney (407-934-7639) Unfortunatley Disney does not have an 800 number for tickets and reservations. As was also stated you can purchase tickets online for MVMCP at Disney.com (Disney.com also appears as if you can buy Cirque tickets there, but you can not, you would have to call or go to Cirquedusoleil.com)

Have a great vacation :)

Booked my La Nouba for Dec 3rd at 6pm, bought the MVMCP tickets for Dec 2nd and Dec 9th (yikes). I hope I can change it to Dec 7th. I forgot that the 9th I'll be having dinner with my friends who now live in Florida.

Crossing my fingers, eyes and toes.
