My sister has invited me to come and stay in their condo at HGV Parc Soleil in February. I am wondering how the shuttles to the Disney Parks work. My sister and her family will go to the parks a couple days, but I am taking my daughter down at the end of January for the Disney College Program and would like to be able get to the parks if she has a day off on other days. I am buying an annual pass when we take her down in January, and want to be able to run over to a park if I can see her. I have always stayed on site and have gotten used to the resort buses!

Thanks in advance!

Bump.

Anyone?

We mostly stay on property these days but won a week at Parc Soliel from the kids' school's PTO raffle. A very generous donation from a time share owner to the PTO.

Booked Thanksgiving week and trying to decide whether or not to rent a car or just cab it. When on property we regularly supplement Disney shuttles with cab rides but that is ~$15 max one way. A holiday week car rental plus WDW parking would be ~$75 a day. Can I cab it for less?

How frequently do the shuttles run?
Do they charge for the shuttle service? If so how much?
MCO to Parc Soliel transportation?

We stayed at the PS in March and will be going back end of June. I'll check out the shuttle info for you when I'm there.

Here's a little bit of what I do know from our March trip about the shuttle. We had to inquire about their shuttle service because our teen daughter was tired and wanted to sleep in one morning. She wanted to use the shuttle to meet up with us in the parks. It was $6 one way. Based on my memory, the last shuttle of the morning was 11am and the last shuttle at the end of the day was shortly after midnight. But I'll get exact times when I go to PS in June/July. I do remember that it was difficult to adjust to the shuttle schedule that our daughter ended up not taking it.

Given the isolated area that PS is located in, I'd rent a car. We did and totally enjoyed the convenience to get to/from MCO, to/from the parks at our convenience and not by a shuttle's schedule, to get to a Publix grocery store to buy some groceries for cheaper and healthier breakfasts, to go to Universal, etc. Our car rental for our June/July trip is $234 for 10 days with Budget (booked thru Expedia). For our family of 4, car rental is by far the cheaper and convenient option compared to using cabs and shuttles for a per person fee. It all adds up.

I agree with c&m.....stayed at the Parc Soleil last summer and we had trouble finding the resort! There is nothing within walking distance so having a car is almost a necessity. The resort is very nice although the view leaves a lot to be desired.

That is exactly right about the resort. It's really nice - which is why we're going back - but you may not want to look out the windows/balcony if a nice view is important to you. The area surrounding the resort is barren. If you want something to look at outside the window, you may want to request a pool view.

On a positive note, the resort is a fabulously restful place, a bit removed from the madness that are the theme parks. Just the place we enjoy going back to after a long day.
