Parasailing?

In preparation for our upcoming trip I have faithfully read every single post on every single page of this Alulani board. I have not seen any recommendations for good companies or good locations for parasailing . Does anyone have any recommendations on parasailing activities including time spent parasailing, proximity to Aulani and the total cost ? Thanks!! Amy (2 weeks til paradise)

On Maui the parasailing is banned during whale season. I'm not sure if Oahu has the same restrictions.

I'm not sure if it's banned or not during whale season, but I've only seen it a few times far off shore on Waikiki, and only in the most recent months. It's not a hugely popular thing here.

My husband did it years ago. I think we had a coupon from the Entertainment Book, and we were staying at the Hale Koa on Waikiki. I think it departed from Ala Wai.
He and our friend had a really fun time!
You'll need to go to Waikiki to do parasailing.
