It was posted in the August thread this morning and I got a tandem one for Dh and ds(8)!!!

We had talked about it before, but always ended up taking a pass because of the price. This brought it down just enough to make it a YES!

What's nice is we're staying in a cabin at the Fort, so it's just a nice boat ride over to the Contemporary as well. They are really excited. I wish I had kept it a surprise but I really wasn't sure what ds would think so I wanted to show him the pictures and make sure it was something he still wanted to do.

My DD and her friend used on of these last month. They had no problem using and had a blast.

I am hoping for something for the Richard Petty Driving Experience for DH.

I bought a Tandem as well tonight for my 6 yr old DD and myself. She has been saving her money for months now and has saved over $100 so this was a perfect price! Plus we can get upgrade it to the Deluxe flight that we had planned on doing once there for $25. Avery can't wait!!

DH & I were able to do the Richard Petty Ride along a few months ago...its pretty awesome.
If its something that your DH would absolutely love, splurge for it, you will not be disappointed.
We also got the DVD of our rides...totally cool, and how many people can say they rode in a stock car?
I will admit, I was the ONLY woman suited up the day we were there. hee hee...

I got this groupon when it was offered. But just last week a woman from my home state died while parasailing down in FL. My husband and I don't want to do it anymore.

I'm so disappointed that Groupon won't give us a refund

Maybe you can use the funds towards rental of a watercraft. You will lose the discount...but if they give you the credit towards something else at least you won't lose any money.

I so want to do this. Can you tell me appox how much dvd's were, time of day you did etc. I knw where to find info on prices for ride along.

We parasailed on a trip a few years back. It was really neat how much you could see from up there. Great deal you all snagged. Have fun!

We did this on our last trip. Fortunately, Sammy Duvall's had to reschedule us (only an hour later than our scheduled time) because of training so we got a pretty decent discount anyways I am terrified of water & not too fond of heights but it was a great experience nonetheless.
