The brochure for parasailing at castaway cay has the minimum weight as 85 pounds. Does anyone know if that's per person? My DD and DS are both around 50 - 55 pounds, and would like to parasail with dad.

Thanks for the help!

I think that it's per person. The last time I went parasailing my dad and my sister (50-60 lbs) both went up at the same time.

That is so cool that you like TKD. I take classes at a *** school in Highlands Ranch, CO. My whole family are 1st degree black belts. Does your whole family do it? Do you take ITF (International TKD Federation) of *** (World TKD Federation)?

I hope your family has a fun time parasailing, it is loads of fun!!

I had the same question and Carole at DU replied:

"I called Disney Cruise just to verify this and was told you can ride tandem as long as the total maximum weight is not over 375 lbs. so it sounds like you two will be fine & you can have a great time doing this! :) I have seen folks parasailing at Castaway Cay & it looks like so much fun. Next trip maybe we'll give it a try!"

I only asked about my DS (50 lbs, if he is soaking wet) and me flying tandem.
