Can someone fill me in who has done this? Two people can go at a time, correct? Are there any age restrictions as I am traveling with my 13 and 16 year old, wondering if they would let them go together? I don't mind going by myself. Possibly my 16 year old could go by herself? Any info appreciated. I do know it frequently gets cancelled as on previous cruises, twice people we knew the excursion had been cancelled due to winds.

I've been wondering if we can pay for our son to go twice (with each of us)

We plan on booking it but assuming it'll be cancelled (and if it doesn't it'll be a nice treat!)

We have done it - myself and my 8 year old at the time. If I remember correctly, it's more based on maximum weights? When we did it there were 8 people and everyone went tandem - no one went up by alone.

Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.

Just want to make sure I understand your post. Are you saying this excursion is frequently cancelled? My DH and DD are booked to do this early morning on our upcoming cruise at an early time...I think 10AM. Wondering if early excursions get cancelled more or later ones?

I've never been - I've just read that its not uncommon for the weather to cause cancellations.
But like I said - I'm going in assuming we won't go & it's a bonus if we get too ;) (easier than dealing with a disappointed 10 year old because of a windy day)

Everyone went in tandem as well when we did it. I think that's fairly common practice.

We've booked it four times and only been able to do it once. It's partly the time of year we go (December) but when winds get high it's hard for them to keep the boat stable enough. Time of day - early or late - doesn't really seem to have a pattern. We've had one early one, one late one and one middle of the day cancelled. Sometimes all parasailing excursions are cancelled, sometimes only some. It's all about the wind and they do it on a case by case basis.

I went with my DDs 12 and 9. The two of them went up together. I got a solo ride (all other guests were in pairs on our boat).
I was hoping they each would have to go up with me and I'd get to go twice, but no such luck!

My daughters went up together. They were 15 and 17 at the time. More of our group were supposed to go, but our ship was delayed due to a medical emergency. They had to cancel all the early bookings (which we had, but were able to get the last two spots for later in the date.

Cruised several different months but have had friends book it three times. Twice was cancelled.
