Has anyone been parasailing on Bay Lake with Sammy Duvall's Watersports (out of the Contemporary, I think)? If so, was it worth it? Would you do it again? Any suggestions for a first-timer?

Thanks in advance.

I did this a few years ago and had a blast doing it. They just strap you in and pull you straight up. They hardly give you any instructions which was kind of fustrating because it gave me the worlds worst wedgie in the middle of my flight and made me feel like I was going to fall out of the harness and I had no idea what to do. It wasnt until I landed that the guy told me what to do and how i could have adjusted the straps to make myself comfortable. So my experince overall ended being fustrated at the guy running it but fun overall and I would do it again.

All I can say is Awesome!!

My wife & I parasailed tandem about 4 years ago and loved it. It is absolutely the best view of WDW, and you can definitely see all of it!!

My two kids, Vince and Natalie, did it in '99. Loved it. It looked liked they did, from my viewpoint.

It's absolutely worth it - and I DID do it again. :)

We did it a couple years ago and had a great time. However, we were just there and decided to try a different company. We went to Boggy Creek and they were wonderful. You go up higher, they will dip you if you want, Disney won't or at least they wouldn't when I asked. After we all parasailed we got to jump off the boat for a swim. I think it was cheaper too at Boggy Creek. I would go there again. Sammy Duvalls was fun, but I prefered Boggy Creek.

From the responses, it sounds like a blast. We will definitely be trying this on our next trip.

While you're up there, what/how far can you see? Can you take pictures while up there? Should I ask about "anti-wedgie" tips before we start? :p

Robin - Where/who is Boggy Creek?

Thanks again.

Boggy Creek has two locations, burt they only have parasailing at their East Lake facility and I belive that is in is in Kissimmee. And is about 30 minutes from the Disney area. You can check out their website www.boggycreekparasail.com for all the information. They also have air boat rides too. We got to see an alligator. That was fun too. My kids loved parasailing, they went tandem and me and my husband went solo.
