Parasailing and Children

DS5 saw parasailing on TV and wants to try. I know that he can go in tamdem with an adult.

My question is, Is there a minimum age cut-off?

I would also appreciate if anyone who has done it with children could share their experiences.

I did tandem with my DS9 at the time. He had a blast. The view is great! If they will let her do it tandem, then by all means...do it!

Ok, I have always wanted to do it!!

I would love to share the experience with my 6 year old daredevil. Please give specifics......

How much does it cost?

How long are you actually in the air?

Can you do this in December? If so, what do you wear?

This would be a great way to celebrate our birthdays.

I went tandem with my DD- 7yrs at the time. It was very cool.
She said it was kinda 'boring' because you go so slow! 100's of feet above the Gulf and she says its boring!
The boat we went on you could go triple, if you wanted.
It was around $80/person for around 20 minutes in the air.
It was in Naples, Fl. in Nov. We took off from the back of the boat and were reeled back onto the back of the boat. No getting wet. The driver did dip our feet in the water tho.

when i went in january..i went up with my best friend...we were about 100ft in the air..and were up about 25 minutes...
i was in ft lauderdale florida so it was like 80 degrees out...
we wore bathing suits which was good becuase the guys dipped us about waist deep in the water..but my brother told them to..so im sure if you ddidnt wanna get dipped, you wouldnt...
have a great time..i used a whole roll of film up there and LOVE the pictures

Definitely bring a camera- I didn't think too and am sorry I didn't. I'd take a disposable one. It looks so cool from up there. We saw stingrays in the water.
