We are on the Fantasy May 1-4Hi Molly! How exciting! What ship are you going on??
Oh my gosh, how fun! The Fantasy is so beautiful! Make sure you book a placeholder because you'll definitely want to book a longer cruise after you sail! It's addicting! We are on the Fantasy May 1-4One day at sea and one day at Castaway Cay!! Our first cruise EVER so we are total newbies!!
Stage fright is realHa! I didn't even notice her but she's going the wrong way!
Buffet is open!!True! I'm aiming for boarding group 100 next time!
Stunning!
I wish they did that for Port Everglades. Or do they? When I did my last cruise I don't think it was an option.By 9:30am we were officially on our way!
Honestly, taking the cruise transfers to the port was so easy and such a seamless process,
When you arrive by bus, they assign you a Boarding Group and I don't know if we were just lucky this day, but we were assigned to Boarding Group 1!
It sure is beautiful! When we walked onto the ship I looked at Allie and said,
"this looks like Agrabah!" And it did!
This ship is truly stunning and I honestly think it's even prettier than the WISH!
Score! That is really nice to have all to yourself for a short time. This would be the only time we'd ever see the deck this empty...
Okay, that's just poor customer service. They def could have done better. We ended up waiting over an hour and you might have already guessed,
of course there were no more brunch reservations
We waited all that time to just get our name on a waiting list.
A giant bonus!because we like the location and like being able to run up a couple flights to the food and coffee.
I don't think they do but that would be a game changer! I think they'd get more people booking land and sea from there if they didn't have to worry about getting there!I wish they did that for Port Everglades. Or do they? When I did my last cruise I don't think it was an option.
Oh, haha! That makes sense...I was thinking what a coincidence that was!I don’t know if we will have the exact same room, I meant the exact same room type.
She had no complaints! I will say the Queen bed was soooooooo comfortable...probably the most comfortable bed I've EVER slept inDid Allie find the bed okay comfort wise? She is a lot younger than my sisters but I hope it is decent.
Where'd the land go???It's like one minute we are in port and the next...
I love it though! The first day of a 7-night cruise...what could be better!!![]()
I like it.Allie and I loved the entry way and how it was designed to look just like the movie...
Wow!!
Interesting menu layout.
we told him what we wanted for our appetizer he asked what we wanted for the rest of dinner. I was so surprised and was like, "Oh! You want to know everything?" and he's like, "yes."
Maybe it was that. Opening days are always going to be a bit rough. This night the servers seemed frenetic...they were rushed and while not "unfriendly," they certainly weren't chatty or friendly...just took the order and rushed off. I don't know if it's because the ship is so new and they are still learning the ropes...
we ran out of salsa but still had chips left so we asked for some more that never ended up coming.
Great. That's when you really want it.And my Diet Coke never got refilled until almost the end of dinner.
Of the whole trip, or just the cruise portion?this was probably our third favorite meal of the trip,
Ugh. Loud during dining is not one of my favourite things... at all.And frankly, I really dislike the Marvel dining room and show...I didn't like it on the WISH and I didn't like it on this trip. It's so loud and crazy and really not relaxing at all
Baby Romaine, Cherry Tomatoes, Roasted Corn, Lime Pepitas, Cotija Cheese, Creamy Cumin-Avocado Dressing
Chorizo Street Croquettes
Toasted Corn, Chili-Lime Crema, Cotija Cheese, Cilantro
All of those sound good!Gemelli Pasta
Roasted Sun-dried Tomato, Baby Spinach, Ripped Basil, Lemon Zest, Black Pepper, Burrata Cheese, Olive Oil
Huh. I didn't know that everyone did that. Not sure I'd want to? Dunno. We couldn't decide what we wanted for dessert so we got three to share.
I always feed weird asking for more than one per person
but I think everyone does it so I stifled my awkwardness and asked if it was ok.
Nope! You had me all warm and fuzzy until right there.Warm Coconut Tres Leches
Three Milk-soaked Coconut Cake, Caramel Sauce, Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
Of the three I liked the Coconut Tres Leche the best.
Demon from the third level of the Inferno.I'm not sure what this guy is...a walrus?
while we were there he knocked to come ask us.

Allie ended up picking the Murphy Bed...
something about being further away from my snoring which I'm sure I don't do![]()
I can't wait!!After a quick change we headed back out to the Haunted Mansion Parlor...that's next!
I purposely avoided spoilers and didn't watch any YouTube of the ship before we went so I guess I was just surprised! This hasn't been the case on our other cruisesI think that's pretty common on cruise ships. At least from what I've experienced (very limited) and heard.
Oh, I was thinking of just the cruise portion!Of the whole trip, or just the cruise portion?
I know how much you love coconut!Nope! You had me all warm and fuzzy until right there.
She was wondering why he made three beds for her!She looks like she was caught off guard by him!
That makes sense now, but I certainly wasn't expecting it! I had not watched any YouTube videos of our ship before the trip because I didn't want to see any spoilers knowing we'd be on so soon after the Maiden.I had seen that they ask for your whole order from one of the Disney YouTubers. I believe it's so they don't interrupt you during the show. I would have been totally thrown off on my order if I wasn't expecting it.

In case she sleep walks. She was wondering why he made three beds for her!
This night the servers seemed frenetic...they were rushed and while not "unfriendly," they certainly weren't chatty or friendly...just took the order and rushed off. I don't know if it's because the ship is so new and they are still learning the ropes...I would be happy to give grace if that was the case.
But honestly, it just seems like they have too many tables to serve and not enough servers. For example, we ran out of salsa but still had chips left so we asked for some more that never ended up coming. And my Diet Coke never got refilled until almost the end of dinner.
Anyway, we did enjoy the entertainment albeit from pretty far away,
the musicians were very talented...
