Thanks so Mary Jo pictures, I had the opportunity to look at the rooms since they were remodeled from the Disney Pacific Hotel.

I personally loved the way the rooms were decorated when it was the DPH. I thought the colors were warm and cozy. I liked the wicker chairs, the custom fabric couches and the pictures on the walls. I noticed that ebay has/had the pictures and even the fabric on auction.

I would love to hear some opinions. I'll be visiting in Decemeber, so I will be able to get the full effect.

Yes, the pictures were awesome!!! Thanks for posting them!

Paradise Pier is a comfortable Hotel.

There are some draw backs though:

1. The walk to the Monorail station is about 15 minutes away and that doesn't include the wait time at the monorail when they are only running one train. If you can't walk the distance, a secret is to have one of the bell men take you from the lobby entrance to the Monorail station via one of their Golf Carts. I'm not sure about the return trip though.

2. The bathrooms feature a shower instead of a bath tub

3. The Rooms are small but well laid out.

3. The pool is very basic and not theemed. Although you are welcome to walk over to the other two hotels to use their pools Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian.

On the Positive side:

1. Park view is incredible at night looking at Disneys California Adventure

2. The cost is relitivly good for a Disney Hotel. Anual Passholders get great rates like as low as 89.00 a night on off season.

3. Your a Disneyland the moment you arive in the Lobby. :-)

Could someone share with me the photos of the current hotel?
I saw what vjc715 posted (thanks).

Thanks....

We just got back from staying at Paradise Pier. This was the first time for us staying at a DL hotel at all and my first trip to Disneyland. The room was wonderful. We had a standard view room. We were on the 11th floor looking away from Paradise Pier. We could see the pool and some parking lot. We could see the Disneyland Hotel. We are not pool people so we did not go there at all. When we went to Disneyland, we went through the Great California Hotel.

I just spent Thursday and Friday nights at Paradise Pier and disagree with three of these statements.

The walk is less than 4 minutes ( I timed it) and that was at 11:00 at night with two very tired little girls. The walk is about the same as to the Disneyland Hotel's Bonita Tower ( I have stayed there before.) The walk to Disneyland's front gate is not even 15 minutes!

We had a bath/shower combination in our room. Standard hotel bathroom.

3. The Rooms are small but well laid out.

Our room featured two queen beds and a sofa/bed. It was as large as my room at the Disneyland Hotel and pretty much the same as most Hilton/Marriott/Sheraton type hotel rooms.

I do agree that the view of the parks is fabulous. Friday night/Saturday morning Disneyland was "testing" fireworks at 2:30 am. What a sight!

I highly recommend this hotel!
