We will be staying at the Paradise Pier for the first time in many years -- I was looking at their website and noticed that they don't list 'refrigerator' under the amenities. Do all the rooms have them?

Also, the sleeper sofa wasn't listed. We have a standard room with 4 people staying -- do we need to request the sleeper sofa if we want one? Or do all the rooms have them?

Also, any tips on making a room request? Should I call the front desk directly? And if so, how far in advance?

Thanks!!

One more thing ... Is there a place to view World of Color from the hotel if you don't have a theme park view? Or do we need to be really nice to our neighbors and hope to sponge off them?

Not that I know of. I remember peaking at it thru a hallway window but you are pretty far away and at a sharp angle with no sound. You can watch the fireworks from the 3rd floor pool area and they pipe in the sound

I would call in in the request now so they can add it to your reservation but there is no guarantee. Also, when you check in at the front desk ,make the request again, They may be able to assign you a room with what you want at that time since they will know availability then

Yes, they have fridges in the room in the armoire. And every room we have stayed in there has had a sleeper couch. It is not a double though, it is only a twin (but very comfy my kids say.)

I called a few days before and requested to be as close to the pool as possible and I was given a room on the 3rd floor (im scared of heights so it was perfect) We were right by the pool and I could see CA from our room, we also got a corner room which according to the map was a little bigger than the other rooms because of its angle. At least I felt it was bigger! ha ha

I merged your two Paradise Pier question threads into one thread.

Also, be sure to skim through the Paradise Pier thread (there are photos and lots of good bits of info) for any additional tips or details - http://www.disboards.com/threads/paradise-pier-thread.2914395/page-23#post-52962601. You can always start at the end and work backwards, in case you want to read the more recent comments and/or reviews and not what was posted at the beginning of the thread.

As far as I know all rooms have the sleeper sofas. Very comfy for my 5'3" (now 5'4" thanks to yoga, but not at the time!) adult self.

We have always been upgraded to themepark view.

They once put us in a handicapped accessible room and it did not have a sleeper sofa (also did not have a bath tub, but a roll in shower). My mom was with us, so there was 5 of us. We needed a room with a sleeper sofa and my kids were little and would not take showers. I called and politely asked to be moved to a regular room. They moved us to a view room on the corner and it was awesome! And, yes, every room I've stayed at in the PPH has had a fridge. Have a great trip!
