Just at the final planning stage of 2011 trip :yay::yay:

We visited last year for the first time. We stayed in Anaheim Plaza for 8 nights. spent 5 days in Disney, other days were spent sightseeing etc.

Our trip is 17 days starting in Vegas, driving to LA then driving to San Francisco where we will fly home.

My dilemma is

**5 nights at Disney's Paradise Pier is only $121 more than 7 nights at HoJo**

So...do I stay the extra nights in Anaheim and drive to Universal Etc, or stay the 5 nights in Disney! (preferred option) and book 2 nights near Universal???

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Thanx x

My opinion is that if you are going to Universal, then you may as well change hotels, and do the 5 days at Paradise Pier. We love to stay there.

Another vote for PP. We love that hotel and the only reason to stick around Anaheim would be if you were going to DL for two more days.

The distance between Anaheim and Universal is pretty large--and if you hit traffic--fuhgetaboutit! I vote for 5 days at PP and two at Universal too.

Thanx guys! Well yeah that is one of the reasons we are considering this. We got stuck in traffic coming back from universal last year! It was dark and really heavy rain! Kinda freaked you out! X

Another vote to stay near Universal. It won't be fun commuting back and forth for two days. Plus, you can avoid part of the traffic on I-5 when you drive up to SF from Universal City :thumbsup2
