It has been many years since I've been to DL, how do you know where the parade routes are, besides seeing people lined up on the streets? Where is a good place to sit/stand? I know there is one in California Adventure and then in disneyland, the parade is twice and I know that Main street is where it is, but would take any suggestions, will be there the week after Christmas, I know, BUSY. Thanks.

The maps that you pick up at the entrance will show the route of the parade. A lot of people will be waiting along Main Street to see the parade, and if you can get a spot there then that's great, but the area near It's a Small World is great too.

In DCA you might have luck viewing down at the Paradise Pier part of the route.

In DL, around the town square can be good because people tend to flock to the Hub and sides of mainstreet. Also next to the matterhorn side of the castle and back near Small world.

Our "secret" spot to watch parades is right outside the bathrooms that are behind Alice in Wonderland, across from the Matterhorn. We always seem to get a seat there even when other spots are crowded. And since there is only seating on one side right there the characters spend all their time and attention on your side.
