What are your favorite parades?

I was thinking about getting a FP to Festival Of The Lion King becauseI've never seen before.. is it worth a FP?

Oh it SO is! The best show I've ever seen at either park IMHO. My favorite parade is Festival of Fantasy...but not sure you need an FP for that since the floats are rather high so most viewing spots are just fine for it.

While I agree that FOTLK is wonderful show, I don't think you need a FP for it. We walked into the 10:00 show last week at literally 9:59 and there were still plenty of seats left.

I don't think you have to have a FP for FotLK, but I got one for my last trip. I liked not having to worry about getting in. The FP+ guests were allowed in first, but that's about the only major benefit, I can think of at this point.

For the parades (FoF, MSEP), I also don't think the FP+ is critical, but it was nice to have. You still can't wait until the last minute to arrive and plan on getting a curb/rope spot, but the general area seemed far less busy than other areas. So in that way, it was very nice.

Parades? Hmm. Let's see.... My favourite day time parade would be the FoF. My favourite night time parade would be MSEP. Oh, wait. Those are the only parades in WDW now. (I can't bring myself to call the Move It, Shake it thing anything more than a moving traffic obstruction). I still don't understand the demand for FPs to watch a parade. I've managed quite well without for over 35 years. But if that's how someone wants to use one of their 3 FPs, then, whatever.

FOTLK is one of the best live shows around, but I've never needed a FP for it.

Agree that a FP isn't needed for FOLK. This is a large venue and all a FP does is to get you in first so you can get a seat "down front". But there really aren't any bad seats in this house and some prefer to be further back anyway.
