Parades and Fireworks

AFTER NEARLY A YEAR OF BROUSING - FINALLY DECIDED TO REGISTER, WHAT TOOK ME SO LONG!!!!


Currently planning our first trip to the World with DH and DD4

We have booked to go to the world (staying offiste) from 23 Sept to 14 Oct (3 weeks) and I was hoping somebody could tell me if they have parades and fireworks in the evenings (for all disney parks) and if so what to expect ie what time they finish, are they scary etc

Hi Lou and welcome to the DIS! What took you so long? LOL

Although I haven't been in September generally the evening parades vary with each park:

Illuminations at Epcot is at 9pm year round.
Fantasmic at MGM is usually around 7pm but later in the Summer (when it get's dark later)
Wishes & Spectromagic at MK are the most variable, they can be quite late in the Summer and only at weekends in the Winter.

The only evening show which has a bit of a 'dark side' is Fantasmic at MGM which can be quite scary, especially for younger or nervous children. However, we took DD when she was 3 and she loved it!
