Actually, it's more like waiting for the parade in August. I haven't watched a parade other than MSEP in years because waiting hours in the sun for a decent spot for a parade is just not my idea of a good time. However, I really would like to see the new Festival of Fantasy parade. BUT, I'll be in Disney the first week of August. So, is my best bet to go with a FP+ for the parade, or is it to find a spot in Frontierland? I use very few FPs, so I'm not concerned with "wasting" one. I also don't care whether or not I watch on Main Street. I'm there for the parade, not the location of the parade. My only concern is which will allow me a shorter wait time.
I understand that there's not much info about FP+ from last August, but how early are people standing around waiting to get into the FP+ area now, versus how early are people lining up in Frontierland for a spot for the parade? I was unpleasantly surprised by how early people lined up to get into the FP+ area for Illuminations in April, so I'm wondering if there's the same issue with the MK parade... And I do understand that technically since it's just me, I could find some spot anywhere as the parade is starting, but I'm short and I'd like to actually SEE the parade.
