Parade smells!

I've just read on the Anniversary blog that each of the floats in the parade has it's own smell! Just wondered if anyone that has seen / will see the parade this week notices the smells? What do they smell like?

No it's OK. I just had to go back to the website and make sure it wasn't an April fools joke, but the blog was posted on 24th March, so it must be true!

Yes, it's true.

The floats have little pipes at the bottom that spred out a smell.

What it smells like? One of the floats is caramel-like (IMHO), the princesses float smells like flowery air freshner, the Villains-float smells rather bad... as does the Lion King float.

IMHO, there is not really a "smell-name" for it, it just smells. Some better than others... I feel sorry for those that along the Villains float during the stop

Ha ha I wondered what the Lion King one would smell like! What about Toy Story?

I noticed the sweet smell around the beginning of the parade but I would say it's very faint not overpowering I would guess that it was coming from the Alice in Wonderland float as cookies were being given out to the children. I didn't notice the smell from the Lion King or the Villains float (I believe the villains one is supposed to smell smokey) and we were right next to the Villains float at the stop - the only smell I was really aware of was the one on the Princess float as Sandra says it's flowery but in an air freshener sort of way.

The villains float was my favourite and Maleficent's new costume is utterly magnificent.

The parade is superb though with or without the smells and the music is really catchy, I didn't think anything would match upto "Dancing a Catchy Rhythm" but by the end of the trip "Just like we dreamed it" had really grown on me.

I am never usually that bothered about the parades, but I am quite looking forward to this one as it looks really fun and there are lots of characters in it that my 4 year old likes (she only really knows the Lion King, Little Mermaid and Pooh Bear). Only 35 days to go!

ou son throughly enjoyed the evening parade last year, so am sure he will live this one, whatever will they think of next lol ...
