Parade routes once construction starts at MK?

If MK starts construction this year on the new Cars Land - would they be re-routing the parades that normally go through Frontierland? (our favorite place to watch).

I know no one knows for sure, so educated guesses are most welcome.

My guess is that once they have the construction scrims in place for the long term, the parade would run as normal with viewing allowed only on the non-construction side of the route. I would not be surprised if the parade was cancelled for a few weeks during the initial demolition, before they get to the point that a more permanent scrim is in place as the path may be too narrow while they tear down the perimeter fencing.

It is possible for them to run a shortened parade, entering and exiting at the Main Street exit point, going up and around the hub and back down Main Street. IIRC, they did this for a parade once, but I don’t remember why . . .

Oh I didn't even think about needing to possibly not run for a bit!

We plan to go to Halloween party this year so our luck it will be then! (if they did that)

There will be big crowds for the new evening parade, they will need as much viewing space as possible.

Considering that the construction areas aren't close to the parade route I doubt there will be any change.

I doubt it would be rerouted due to construction. The biggest impact would only be when they drain Rivers of America and fill it with dirt to grade level to begin construction of Cars Land.

We plan to go to Halloween party this year so our luck it will be then! (if they did that)

I doubt they will causing a major disruption after the second week of August when they start the MNSSHP evening events much less at the end of October as they ramp up for Christmas parties.

Well Rivers of America is right next the paved area where the parade runs. I also expect that they will remove the boardwalk area right on the waterway. It will be noisy and dusty.
