Parade route seating

So we were planning to see the Mickey Band-Tastic parade end of October when we go. What are the best places to sit along the route with little ones (4 and 7 yrs old)? Thanks!

There are many good places to sit along the route, but lots of people here like the benches by the Alice bathrooms (across from the Matterhorn). There is no seating/standing allowed across the way, so the parade characters all face the benches when passing -- makes for great photos. And the restrooms are right there for easy access with little ones. Other people like viewing from around IASW -- there is a raised area where the viewing is nice. Then you can go on the ride afterward or head to TT.

I just want to make sure you’re aware that this is not really a parade. It’s a single vehicle followed by a bunch of characters walking (including some rare ones!). It’s a fun little festive moment to see some characters go by, but there are no floats or anything.

I was just about to reply the same thing.

Quite literally, it's less than 3 minutes. No real need to stake out a seat and wait a long time!

Good to know! I've never been to DL so I would have had no idea and wasted time!

It is cute but we just kind of watched as we walked up Main Street on our way to hop over to DCA.
