Parade: Mickey's Soundsational

Where does the parade begin..in Tomorrowland or Mainstreet? In the Unofficial Guide the map shows it starting in Tomorrowland and ending in Main Street, but then it goes on to say "depending on which end the parade starts at...". We would like to see the beg. of the parade and then head off to do rides and are wondering where to stake out a spot...any ideas?

I think it goes back and forth...meaning it starts on one end for the first show and ends and then it goes the other way! I believe it goes from Small World down to Main Street and then the other direction.... That is how it has been the past few months anyways!

There is only one show each day when we are there this week, at 7 pm. Do you think it will vary by the day then? Or most likely always start in TL?

The parade does not start at Tomorrowland or even goes towards TL. It starts right by It's a Small World and the 2nd show starts right by the Mad Hatter store at MS Town Square.

The first parade during Mickey's Soundsational parade starts at IASW and ends at MS Town Square. Then the 2nd show on the same day starts from MS Town Square and ends at IASW. But on days that there is only one parade a day, it starts from IASW all the way towards MS TS.

For spots, the busiest area to stake out a spot is around the Hub all the way down towards MS Town Square. The least crowded area to stake out a spot is around IASW. It is a perfect spot to see the parade when it starts at IASW.
