Parade length

How long do parades generally last? I'm thinking of watching the DCA parade at 5:15, then eating at Wine Country Trattoria right afterwards. Would 6:15 be a good time to make PS?

An hour is plenty of time. If you're concerned about cutting it close, stake out your parade viewing spot near Wine Country. The parade route goes right past it.

We made PS at 4:10 so we can watch it from WCT patio.

Apparently, the last PS they have is at 5:40, so I took it. (DCA closes at 6 on this particular day.) Are there a lot of patio tables - should I call back to request a patio table? Maybe the parade will be gone by the time we get seated?

I was told you have to request patio at check in. They aren't doing in in the ressies anymore. The parade will probably be done by then.
