Hi All, looking for some parade+fireworks advice for this coming Tuesday. 2 adults+2 kids (with stroller). We're MK holders but usually go on weeknights for just a few hours, this one is a 2 night trip and I really want to see the 6:30 parade and fireworks (if not canceled) on Tuesday and WOC on Wednesday. Will probably arrive at the park around 4:30pm. I'm thinking grab a spot near small world around the time of the small world lightning (~5:15pm) and set up the blanket, eat, take turns doing some FL rides, watch parade. But what about fireworks. I haven't stayed in the park for fireworks since pre-covid times and have no idea how early the spots fill up these days. I'm not loving the idea of staking out a blanket for 5 hours total. How early can you set up at the hub/how late is realistic to get a decent spot at the hub or on main street on a weeknight? Easier to just grab a spot at small world again shortly beforehand for the fireworks? Maybe we don't need to get a spot an hour early for the parade at Small world and could show up there kinda last minute and camp out for fireworks instead? I can't stop overthinking it so any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Last week spots around the castle and hub were going around an hour before the show, by 20mins to show the entire area was so packed no one could move. I'd suggest get there an hour before the show and find a spot. This was on a Wednesday.

As for the parade, we got a spot near small world around an hour also before the parade started, it was starting to fill up and about 15mins later was packed and no where left.
I suggest an hour before each show and you should be good.

I doubt you'll see this - but for what it's worth, I would watch the parade anywhere on the route, but move to Main Street for the fireworks by 9pm - you'll get to fully appreciate the snow and the shows on the buildings if you are on Main Street. Depends on how many of you there are, and how pushy you are - as to how far in advance to be in "the street" for that. Enjoy. I just did it last night (Monday) and then went over to watch WOC afterwards, got there in plenty of time from Main Street to where WOC is located, but not pushing a stroller or anything to slow me down - DCA was not nearly as full as Disneyland so WOC was relaxing.
