Parade Accident at DL?

My friends know that we are about to go to DL. I have now had two people mention to me that there was some kind of parade accident at DL within the last week and someone may have actually been killed?! I haven't seen this on the news myself. I hope this is not true - that would be terrible. Does anyone know anything about this? I am going to post on the news part of the board also....

Pretty sad news, although the rain may have been the cause.
I'm sure the parks feel a lot of pressure (and get a lot of complaints)
when the parades are cancelled because of bad weather,
but if it's unsafe, they really shouldn't go on.

Thank goodness no one was killed. Hopefully the woman just ends up with bruises that heal easily. I agree that it would be better to cancel the parade then end up with hurt people, bad publicity and law suits. We are going next week and there is plenty of rain in the forecast. I probably wouldn't want to stand out in the rain for a parade anyway....
