I now only have one month until my trip. :cheer2: I plan on taking a folder of papers, and have to decide what to include. Here's what I'm planning on so far; restaurant menus, TGM LCPC, flight reservation, hotel reservation, restaurant confirmation numbers, and a general intinerary. Is there anything I'm missing, or something else I should include?

Maps / Driving directions (if you are driving)
List of phone numbers for credit / debit cards in case they get lost or stolen
Copies of your ticket(s) in case they get lost

Addresses of people you want to send postcards to
Addresses and driving directions for any places you want to go outside WDW (like Walmart to get groceries or outlet malls)

The only maps I need are the park maps, since I'll be relying solely on Disney transportation. And I should have my personalized maps by then, (but may or may not take them with me,) and there's park maps in my Pass Porter. Then I'll just pick up time guides, and the maps at each park. Also, I should print up the entertainment schedule once it's posted for my week.

That's a good idea to copy tickets, and to write down my credit card numbers, I never would of thought of that, and if that did happen, *knock on wood,* I would really be messed up.

And I really should send some postcards, I always mean to. . .

I programmed WDW-DINE into my cell phone, in case we needed to change a reservation! :rotfl: I also entered the prescription numbers of medication for myself and DH into my phone, in case I lost the bottle and needed a refill. (yes, by then I was getting fanatical and it's a good thing it was time to leave...)

What I have packed so far:
- Copies of Disney Maps with the park hours & EMH already printed on them
- Copy of my ADRs
- Copy of my "cheat sheet"...best places to see fireworks/parades
- Labels printed for the postcards I want to send
- stamps for my postcards
- copy of Poly reservation
- copy of airline reservation
- copy of Tiffany towncar reservation

I make 2 copies of all documents; air tix, hotels, park tix etc, confirmation numbers & times, travelers checks, credit cards etc.....Then I leave a copy with my Best Friend and my boss, between the 2 in the event I need access I can get to one of them 24/7.

I made index cards for each day with the park times, parades/fireworks schedules, ADR's & confirmation numbers. Each evening I would repack my travel pack with $$, park map & the index card for the next day.

Upon returning to our resort, double check the resort lobby for the next days park hours as there were a few days that changed from what I had originally written down and we would not have known if I hadn't checked.

I too programmed WDW dining into my cell phone and it came in very handy.

Have fun

I use a PDA, but it looks like you're missing a list of Disney Secrets.

I figure if I want a map, ther are plenty of places to get one at WDW. I do create an itinerary. The itinerary has park hours, our plan, EMH hours, dining ADR's. On a second sheet, I fit the rest of the trip confirmation #'s, flight info (for the group), remaining balances - if any, and maybe directions if there is a restaurant, grocery store, etc. that we plan to visit. On a third sheet, I put a copy of the back of our park tickets, which I store away from our actual tickets.

If we get a car, we do grab the maps that the rental car companies give out, but I've learned not to trust them 100%. Somtimes they distort distances a little.

For flying on SWA, I don't think I've ever needed to give them more than my name at check-in. I always print my receipt whenI buy tickets so sometimes I just bring that, but for WDW I ten dto only bring the conf#, and I've never had a problem. You would need the conf.# to print boarding passes for return flight though.

If you are flying Southwest - or any other airline where you can print your boarding passes ahead of time, you'll probably want to do so.

Otherwise, to be honest, I really rarely need or even use much of it at that. Usually to check in most places want to look you up by last name over your conf. #. You are better off picking up a time schedule at WDW, because sometimes there are changes - and ones you pick up at the resorts/parks are more likely to be accurate that what you'll get off the web. When you check into any WDW resort, they will give you a folder with maps and all. The parks have these great little cards they give out withthe ADR bracelets that list the EMH stuff very well. OTherwise, just grab a time card at the entrance of each park if you're concerned with parade times and the like.

Do remember to bring a valid photo ID with you. Traveling without that is a real hassle!

Sounds like you guys didn't leave anything out :goodvibes

I bought one of those plastic accordian folders and put in:

Boarding passes for SouthWest
Our final documents from Dis
DME documentation
Three copies of our ADRs with confirmations (I kept misplacing at least one copy while at Pop)
Calendar of what parks we were hitting on what days (also had our ADR conf #'s)
MNSSHP tickets
SeaWorld Tickets and Dine with Shamu confirmation
Medieval Times coupon
Enterprise Rental confirmation

Well, now, then, there, hummm ...

I think it's a good idea to include a single comprehensive sheet of medical history for each member of your family as well as your spouse and, of course, yourself. Include any info a doctor might need to know in a hurry.

Include any allergies, reactions to medications, and the like. And include any past major medical events in your history. Also put down your health insurance info., policy numbers, company address and phone number to verify coverage. I would also include all current prescriptions, including dosage, etc. And the name, address and phone number of your primary family doctor back home.

In the unlikely event of a medical emergency it is difficult to remember all the details the emergency room staff, doctors, etc. might need to help in such a case. (You might be freaking out and forget something critical.) If you take the time to make such a record and put it on a single sheet it might turn out to be a life saver.

And if you never need it? Great! But it sure is nice to know you are ready in case some kink of illness or accident should happen. Let's you rest easier don't you know.

Just a suggestion.
