I was thinking of making a paper bag album (my first one) for autographs when we go to Disney in October. Do you think this would work? Any ideas?

I think it would be a cute idea for after your trip, but I would worry about it holding up on your trip. To me, they just don't have the "substance" that they need to be handled as much as they will be while getting autographs.

I think this is a really cute idea for autographs. If you make one, let us know how it turns out. I love making paper bag albums---they're just so easy!

I think the paper bag albums are a good idea. Are they hard to make? How do you make them? Are they only used for autographs?

A belong to a chapter of Beta Sigma Phi (social/service group for women) and we are making them for our members to use this year. We are adding a folded cardstock cover on the front. The front and back--cardstock--will be the same for everyone and will be predecorated. Our theme is All About Us--The Good, The True, The Beautiful and we are coming up with questions for everyone to answer that fit in those areas. Everyone will have a two page spread to decorate in each book and will also do a 3 page layout on themselves. The two of us will do our 3 page layout in our book and a two page in each other's so that they will have examples to look at.

Not everyone in our group scraps, stamps, or does crafts, so we think this type of book will be great. We plan to have a mix of papers available for everyone to use and will take a picture of everyone and print them out so they have pics to use.

By the time the club year is over next May, everyone will have a book that tells a little bit about us. As they are passed around, we will get to read each other's pages and learn even more. We thought this would be a great memento. There are only 13 of us so it is manageable.

What a great idea. I would somehow make it strong maybe a clipboard until you get home just a thought. Good luck with this it is a great idea.

I am in the process of making the book. It is taking longer than expected. I am trying to do lots of research so I have a page for every character! I also have to remember to leave room for them to sign! I am currently waiting on a shipment from Bargain Pack so I can finish my Peter Pan page. I will try to post some pictures even thought it is still a work in progress! I did think about taking a clipboard, that way we can have the page opened and pinned down and sturdy, that way it will be much easier on the characters. Now, I am off to make an altered clipboard! Will this ever end? :rotfl:

Can't wait to see your finished project.

If I can get pictures to post, I will show what we did with the books for our members.
