I'm very sorry to hear of this, and wish you a speedy recovery!
My DH has heart issues as well (at age 37!) For us, this meant a radical change in diet, very little eating out, and me learning to cook very low-fat recipes. Since I'm a little "cooking-challenged", shall we say, it's been interesting.
I have no doubt you'll be up and at 'em (and creating tasty heart-healthy meals) in no time!
Prayers said.
My DH had a very unexpected heart attack 5 years ago at 47. Very scary.
2 years ago he had an angiogram due to chest pain and ended up w/ Open Heart Surgery. Good news is ever since then he has felt great.
I will continue to pray for you both as I know the spouse goes through a lot as well.
PD...you know they're gonna find your arteries clogged with barbecue sauce, don't ya? Sooo glad I don't have my "greasy" lasagna to blame for any of this!
In all seriousness, you're one of my very favorite people and you'll weigh heavy on my mind till I hear you're up and about and feeling better than ever. That won't be long. Love you!
