My passes expire at the end of this month, but I have a 5 year anniversary in April that I am trying to plan a trip for. Can I can book my room now at one of the DL hotels and get the PAP discount? I wouldn't think so but it would be great if I could! :)

You can book now using your AP discount, but they do ask to look at your AP card upon check-in. It's my understanding that if the card is no longer vaild when checking in, they will charge you the current rate.

^ is correct.

The key piece of information you did not include for us to accurately answer your question is: Are you renewing?

You can book now even though your AP is expiring before your stay. However, you must have a valid AP at time of stay to benefit from lower rate.

Well I figured if I still have a valid pass I would get the discount. I don't plan on renewing, so I wouldn't get the discount. My uncle might book a stay for us at the Villas using his DVC points he isn't going to be using, so I don't even care! That would be awesome. :)
