Pants OK, But Sneakers?

Yes. We ate last week at Citrico's and Jiko and I wore shorts, a polo shirt and sneakers. Many people were wearing sneakers. I brought one pair of pants down with me and they never left the hanger.

In all of my Disney dining, the only place I haven't not worn my sneakers was Victoria & Albert's

Sneakers are not a problem - I can't imagine walking around the world in anything but sneaks or birks. leave the fancy shoes at home.

Business casual attire at restaurants usually doesn't mean sneakers but they are more relaxed about this at Disney. However they really are trying to stop the theme park casual look in a few of the upscale restaurants. This is a good question and I'm sure you could get a variety of answers. I never wear sneakers to restaurants.....that's just me..DH wears sneakers unless we dine out at a nice restaurant and he switches to loafers. DS wears loafers or docksiders to a really nice restaurant, all other times it's sneakers. DD wears shoes or nice sandals to an upscale restaurant. I'm sure if the rest of you isn't theme park casual you will be OK:) If unsure call the restaurant before you leave. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Sneakers are definately ok. Remember, that resort/business casual is a suggestion for those restaurants, not a requirement. Most people do not dress for dinner.

WDW needs to take notes from DL's upscale restaurants. While the service/atmosphere and menus are all upscale, they allow park attire because they know people don't want to pack all that extra clothing and change for dinner.
