Ok I'm going on the wonder 3 day cruise in 7.....yes count them.....7 days!!!!

What if I don't order exactly the most delicious food on the menus what if I miss something?

Someone please tell me the absolute best things to eat at PALO and at all the other restaurants! I don't want to miss a thing and I don't want to order anything yucky. HELP!!!!!!!

As you can see I have one thing on my mind! FOOD!! My DH has other things on his mind (being all alone, leaving the 4 kids at home) but this is a family forum so we won't go there.

Any help would be great!!!

If more than one thing looks interesting to you order them both, your servers will be more than happy to bring them to you and you could eat a little of everything!

In Palo -- order the Rack of Lamb. I typically do not eat lamb but this has got to be one of the most fabulous dishes I have ever eaten. I ordered the Tiramisu (very good) as I am probably one of the few people out there that doesn't like chocolate that much but I tried dh's Chocolate Souffle and it was delicious. As for the other restaurants someone else will have to recommend dishes for those. HTH

I'm glad that you can do that because my DH always orders something different from me, just to be different I think....and when the food comes he wants mine instead of his.......MEN

If you order something and don't like it, you can request something else and it is usually brought out in less than a minute!

If you feel you'll miss something.....rebook on board! Then the next time you go, order something different! ;)

Hmmm.. some of my fav's are...

The escargot at Tritons

The Shrimp Medly at Tritons

I like the Duck Breast or Sea Bass at Tritons

Also at Triton's, the creme brulee can't be missed, or the souffle..

At Animator's I really like the Duck and Goat Cheese Flatbread and the Ceasar Salad is also really good.. And the Shrimp Wrappers too... I like the appetizers at Animator's more the the entree's so I order a bunch there.

I usually get the Veal Chop at Animator's...

I like The Kahlua Trifle for dessert and the Strawberry Shortcake of course...

Parrot Cay, I always get the Rib Eye... but I heard good things about the Ribs. I don't know though, can't beat Rib Eye, that's one good piece of meat!

I absolutely LOVED the Creme Brulee cheesecake there!!

At Palo.. hmmm, I usually get the Fillet Minon, or the Rack of Lamb... And of course the souffle.. usually we get the chef pizza of the day as well.

Don't worry about ordering more then one entree or desser or appetizer, even if you only order it to "try" it!

Tootyjane! Are you the other non-chocolate freak out there?

I tried the souffle. It was okay, but I'm not a big fan of chocolate. I like the tiramisu more.

At Palo's, I never want the spaghetti as my main course, but I've gotta have a little plate of it alongside my meal. They always accomodate me. :teeth:

My DH didn't like the souffle that much either.

Get everything. Order two appetizers, etc.

We ordered antipasta, bread with pesto sauces, soup, fried calamari (which I actually tried---it wasn't bad). I had the filet mignon and DH had a pasta dish. We both had the souffle, two glasses of wine and espresso.

They had to roll us out of there.:crazy2:

I have to agree with everyone here. Just order as many appetizers, entrees, deserts as you think you would like to try. It's almost certain that you won't care for something they bring out and this way you have plenty to choose from.

At Palo I ordered 4 appetizers! All were fantastic. If you like calamari they have the BEST calamari I have ever had. I'm not a huge fan of the dish, but LOVED it at Palo.

I want to go on the 3 day cruise but my wife is against it, please post your experiences when you get back, I want to go with just her, but she thinks we're gonna go nuts with all the kids on the ship and that there isn't much for adults only to do, like no casino's.

Seeing all the dishes mentioned here, I'm a bit worried because I'm a vegetarian. Will there be plenty for me to choose?

there is a vegetarian section on the menu each night.. also a lot of good soup and salad choices that would be vegetarian.

Normr: I had to promise that my dh could go hunting anytime he wanted this season to get him to go. He is not too thrilled with the idea of cruising. I think once he gets there he will love it though.

That probably wouldn't work with your wife though...haha
Maybe some other sort of compromise.
