Pandora Store in New Orleans Square

Do the Pandora charms "hold up", so to speak? I find many of them super cute, but I just wonder after banging around on stuff for a while if the colored enamel portions chip or scuff, etc.?

I've heard people say that they think the bracelet is uncomfy, too. Thoughts from people who have them and have worn them for a while?

I haven't had my Pandora bracelet long so can't tell you about how well they hold up. However I also have a Chamilia bracelet that slightly tarnished over the last year (as silver does) - though the tarnish came off fairly quickly with a polishing cloth. Right now I'm keeping both Pandora and Chamilia bracelets and charms in a ziploc bag with anti tarnish tabs to hopefully prevent tarnishing!

I don't think the bracelets are uncomfy. I wear them on the same wrist as my watch, so am already used to having something on that wrist.

I bought my bracelet at WDW. At the shop they had a few display bracelets that were already filled up with charms. I was thinking of getting a 7.1 bracelet and the CM let me try on one of the full 7.1 bracelets to get an idea of how tight it would be when I filled up my own bracelet.

Ut oh, my husband will not be happy knowing this!! :rolleyes1 I might just have to get me a bracelet!! Better start saving my money for our June trip!!

Oh yeah, I get that the "park exclusive" ones will not be there, but will they have most of the other Disney beads they show on their website?

Does anyone have experience with buying the Disney charms at a Pandora store not at the parks? Is there a good selection?

There's a great selection of non-park-exclusive charms - more than 60 charms are available at the official Pandora stores. As with many new releases, they go first to the official Pandora stores and there's a delay before they show up at secondary stores (jewelry stores that carry Pandora and other brands). So right now you'll probably have to buy at an official Pandora store or the Pandora website.

You can see the non-park-exclusive selection at this link at the Pandora website.

Thank you for your reply! That's exactly what I wanted to know. I'm dragging the hubby to a Pandora store next weekend, haha!

I had no idea that this was in the park! I am so making sure we stop by when we go this weekend!

I just purchased 3 charms yesterday and I found the prices to be the same. $35 for a plain sterling one, $65 for the Disneyland charm with crystals. I was told the park exclusive bracelet was $65, but I didn't purchase that. I did use my Disney Visa and got 10% off- so it was actually cheaper than the Pandora store. I have had my bracelets for a few years and while I don't wear them all the time, I have found them to hold up great.

Okay, the hubby bought me a Pandora bracelet yesterday with 5 of the Disney charms and I love it! Everything Pandora seems really well made and I am very pleased. I'd like to order the Sleeping Beauty Castle charm that's park exclusive as well to add to my bracelet. I can tell I'll be visiting the Pandora store in NOS on my next trip to DLR, lol.

So glad I saw this thread! My teen daughters Pandora bracelet was stolen from her school bag at school ( she had taken it off for a netball game ) and we never got it back. It had so many memorable charms on it :( She had ones from the first time we saw snow, the first Thanksgiving we experienced, our first Halloween plus we always got a new charm each time we traveled to Canada to visit my dad.

I was going to buy her a new one here in Australia for passing her OLNA exams but I'm going to wait till we get to DLR in September and buy her the Disneyland bracelet and beads :D

So my daughter's bf bought her a bracelet and I never had desire to have one. Went back to run Tink with my daughter. Guess what I'm on my wrist right now. Daughter bought me the leather single rope with the Disneyland charm. Guess I'm officially addicted now also.
