Pandora in the evening

Hi all we will be traveling later this summer. Wondering about what time pandora illuminates? Given how early AK closes I know it won't be really dark but would like to try to see it...can you see illumination on summer evenings?

We are also going later in August and with park closing currently scheduled for 7pm. Unfortunately you wont see much at all at that point. Hopefully they extend hours.

It is illuminated as soon as it is dusk/dark. As the previous poster mentioned, it is awesome to do flight of passage right before park closing. By the time you get out of the line the entire park has cleared out and you have Pandora almost to yourself. We did that last summer and it was an unexpected magical moment.

You can a little before the 8:00 closing. Best bet is to get in line for FOP about 750. By the time you finish you will be able to slowly walk out with a better view.
This!
We've never seen Pandora at night and I was determined this past trip (june). We finished eating at satuli around 7:40 and hopped on FOP line. It moved rather quickly but we spent time in the shop when done and just sat for a bit, others were doing this too. I want to say it was around 8:30ish the CMs began ushering people out. It started to "come alive" before dark and was nicely dark by the time we left. I forget exactly what time we exited.

Such a shame WDW doesn't do much with this land at night. Was clearly built for it!!

You got lucky! Usually the shop is closed by the time I get off the ride when hopping in line at park close.

Pandora at night is beautiful. I am there mid August and am planning to hop in the FOP line at park close so definitely expecting to enjoy this after the ride.

Does anyone know about the Tree of Life Awakenings though? That’s a big must do for us but with park close at 8pm, I don’t know if we will miss it entirely because of riding FoP.

I don't think they are currently doing the Tree of Like Awakens. At least they haven't been listing times for it so I thought it wasnt happening. Hope I am proven wrong.

Pandora starts to light up near dusk. If AK closes early (around dusk) agree with getting in line for FoP just before it closes. You can then slowly walk through Pandora. Just like TSL, it is really beautiful lit up for night.
